Lotus$ Ledger / Trade-Credit Terms

Effective Date September 16, 2026.

Lotus$ are internal trade credits. A listing may show an approximate USD reference of about $1 per 1 Lotus$ — that is a comparison only, not the Lotus balance itself. They are not cash, not a bank deposit, and not redeemable for U.S. dollars from Operator. Members may buy published packs under the Lotus$ Cash Purchase Schedule.

On Settle of a Member-to-Member trade in a ledger Operator has enabled, Operator debits the taker and credits the provider for the listed Lotus$ amount. Members may also apply Lotus$ toward Operator-designated Lotustay.com nights under the Host / Lodging Addendum and Soft-Night Definitions. Balances do not create a cash claim against Operator.

Operator hubs and USD cash-out are not enabled. Unused Lotus$ create no cash claim. Lotus$ may be spent or applied only for Member-to-Member goods and services trades and/or eligible Lotustay.com stay booking — never for Operator cash-out, withdraw, or sell-back. See the Lotus$ Redemption Paths.

§5.2 Operator cash purchase

When operator_cash_purchase_enabled is true, Members may buy published packs of 20 / 50 / 100 / 200 Lotus$ at 1 Lotus$ per $1 USD. Purchased Lotus$ do not expire. Club KYC is required when a purchase would push lifetime Operator cash purchases over US $10,000. Processor is TBD. Buying does not allow cash-out. See the Lotus$ Cash Purchase Schedule.

§5.3B Join Welcome Credit

After successful membership Accept, Operator grants a one-time Join Welcome Credit of 20 Lotus$ as promotional club trade credits, as published in the Join Welcome Credit Schedule. The grant is not wages and is not redeemable for U.S. dollars from Operator. Display the amount as 20 Lotus$, never $20. The credit expires one year after grant. Operator may reverse, freeze, or claw back for error, duplicate grant, fraud, or abuse.
